This unique Festival has many dimensions to showcase the rich traditions of Indian Cultural Heritage There shall be a National Exhibition of Manuscripts of India .

There will be National Handicrafts, Arts Exhibition along with a Film and Documentaries Exhibition, where the National Awardees, Master Craftsmen and Artisans are going to participate.

Significantly, there will a display of the Worlds Longest Epic Painting called “Mahabharata Scroll Painting” by legendary Santokh Ba.

The Original artifacts excavated from Mahabharata Sites such as Kurukshetra, Dwaraka and from sites in UP are going to be displayed for the first time outside these sites in Bangalore

There shall also be dance, drama festivals such as Yakshagana from Karnataka, Kathakali from Kerala, Vittinatakam from Andhra Pradesh, Karaikuttam from Tamil Nadu, etc. Dance forms like Bharatanatyam from Tamil Nadu, Odissi from Orissa, Manipuri from Manipur Kathak from North India will be accompanied by traditional food festival of that state.

There be story telling by groups like Gamaka from Karnataka, Pandvani from Madhya Pradesh/Chattisgarh who have specialised themselves in the art of narrating stories of Mahabharata.

A Sanskrit drama drawn from the story of Mahabharata will be enacted at the festival. Shadow puppetry, String puppetry shows are planned. Other than these programmes, publication releases—one such work of rare intellectual value on Mahabharata called Mahabharata Lakshalankara authored by Sri Vadirajatirtha
