  About the Utsav      
  Highlights   The main objective of the Utsav is to showcase Mahabharata, the national epic as the source of National integration. The programme is a conscious effort to reach out to all the sections of the society. The theories, philosophy, strategies, tactics, plots, subplots, administration and all the facets of life beautifully embedded in this epic.. Academic events will be positioned so as to understand and explore some of these facets of Mahabharata.

National Integration Festival of Indian Cultural Heritage through Mahabharata is probably the first of its kind, being held in Bangalore. Each day of this Utsav is dedicated to different regions/linguistic province of the country, which has its own unique way of depicting the art and culture.

Manuscripts and Art exhibitions, Cultural Programmes, Documentaries, Handicrafts & Handlooms, Award functions are planned in this Utsav.

The whole Utsav is being organised as a curtain raiser for a magnanimous project of creating an "Encyclopedia of Mahabharata", a project to create a national reference of Mahabharata, that is partly funded by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
